A Two Weeks Vacation 

From December 16th Saturday To January 2nd Tuesday

Stay at Courtyard Marriott London City Airport

( 16th to 21st .. 5 nights )

had an hour rest 

From hotel walked to Connaught Bridge Bus Stop and then by bus (line 474) to Custom House tube station .. took 5+7 minutes .. Then by Tube from Custom House station to Oxford Circus station .. have to use three tube lines .. DLR, Jubilee & Bakerloo .. Custom House ➜ Royal Victoria ➜ Canning Town .. changed train here for Jubilee line .. Canning Town ➜ North Greenwich ➜ Canary Wharf ➜ Canada Water ➜ Bermondsey ➜ London Bridge ➜ Southwark ➜ Waterloo .. changed train here for Bakerloo line .. Waterloo ➜ Embankment ➜ Charing Cross ➜ Piccadilly Circus ➜ Oxford Circus .. took 50 minutes 

An hour and a half walk on Oxford Street .. To enjoy the window-shopping on Christmas occasion .. It’s a 3KM length Road consisting of more than 400 shops and it is estimated that around a million people visit this Street on Christmas Season every year 

Today I have enjoyed by seeing people of different race, different colour, different attire, and from different countries.  It’s a worthwhile.

Then by tube from Oxford Circus to Custom House, by bus to Connaught Bridge, by walk to hotel, then rest (woke up in the wee hour 2 am .. now London time is night 10:30 but Indian time 4am .. so no sleep for 26 hours) 

As I am in England, the time zone is different.  Though I start my activities from 6 am as usual, my homeland people can see my first post for the day at 11:30 am.  Here Sun raises at 8 am only but sets at 3:30 pm.  On routine I got up at 5:30 (17-12-2023), and while I write this piece at 6:20, I see dark only from hotel room window.  This is only for two weeks.  After that, very old style.
