19-12-2023 .. Monday .. LONDON
Sharing here some of the clicks taken from the Walkway at Tower Bridge, standing 138 feet above the Thames River.
From the Gift Shop at Southern Tower of the Tower Bridge, stepped into the Queen’s Walk. A well-laid out neatly maintained pavement from Tower Bridge to London Bridge on the banks of the Thames River. Even in the drizzling and chilly weather, lot of locals and tourists are walking in the Queen’s Walk. A busy area.

Number of food outlets .. just like our “kaiyendhi bhavans” .. featuring different tastes like Indian, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and of course British. Browsed through a string of shops. What else, only window-shopping.
Then and there had selfies as well made clicks.
The Tower of London from the Queen’s Walk.Clicks on interesting in the Queen’s Walk. There stands a gigantic magnificent glass-clad pyramidal tower. “The Sharad” is 1,016 feet height 72-storey iconic skyscraper. The habitable floors are occupied by Offices, Residences, Restaurants and high end shops. There is an open-air observation deck on the 72nd floor. From here one can have unparalleled 360-degree views of London City for up to 40 miles.
By the time we reached the building, the tickets were sold out for the observation.
Then walked down to London Bridge station. Took train to London City Airport station. London Bridge ➜ Bermondsey ➜ Canada Water ➜ Canary Wharf ➜ North Greenwich ➜ Canning Town [changed train here for DLR Line] Canning Town ➜ West Silvertown ➜ Pontoon Dock ➜ London City Airport. ( 8 stops, 40 minutes)
Walked down to hotel (just a five minutes walk). Son & Dinla brought Dal & Rice from a nearby Indian restaurant. To Bed.
