ENGLAND:SCOTLAND (14)

18-12-2023 .. Monday .. LONDON .. continued

Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour …

Exploring the vibrant city of London from the top of a double-decker bus.

We can board the bus at any designated stop, and then hop off at any attraction or landmark that catches our interest. Once we’re done exploring, we can simply hop back on the bus at the same or next designated stop and continue our journey.   This helps us to customize our itinerary and see the sights that interest us the most.

The buses run on a regular interval, so we need not have to wait too long for the next one to arrive.  It’s a convenient and flexible way to see all the major sights and attractions in the city.

To have an educational element to our sightseeing experience, the buses have informative audio guides providing us with interesting facts and stories about the city as we travel.

This Bus Tour provides us to get an overview of the city and to see a wide range of landmarks and attractions in a short amount of time that helps us to decide which places we want to explore more.

20 Stops .. 27£(INR2970) per head .. valid for 24 hours from the time we start

From West Minister Abbey, we walked to Trafalgar Square to board a bus. It took 25 minutes for us.

The walk-path is illustrated here under.

By sitting in a seat that is open to sky,

not only experienced the very chilly winds but also seen (thru moving bus) luxury star hotels, theatres, driven along Whitehall, the nation's political hub, crossed bridges that offered breathtaking vistas of the cityscape, ploughed into London's ancient roots through its most venerable streets, witnessed the grandeur of Parliament, and saw the elegant buildings in some of London's most prestigious and historic residential areas.

The top attractions and landmarks are Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben and Trafalgar Square.
