TOKYO SKYTREE.
The crown jewel of Japan’s skyline!
An architectural marvel.
Tembo Deck & Tembo Galleria are the two primary observation areas located respectively at 1,148 feet & at 1,476 feet.
Each of them comprises of 3 floors with various venues.
“The Sorakara Point” (1,480 feet) is at the very top of the Tembo Galleria and is the highest point in the tower accessible to visitors.
What an incredible experience in the lift. This high-speed high-tech elevator lifted us to the Tembo deck in less than a minute.
It ascends at an impressive 1970 feet per minute, covering the distance of 1148 feet in a mere 50 seconds.
TEMBO DECK
Located at 1148 feet above the ground.
Tembo Deck is surrounded on all sides by large glass plates over five meters tall for an open structure that allows visitors to enjoy a stunning 360-degree panoramic view to a distance of around 70 kilometers from the foot of the tower.
It is the lowest platform. It has restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops and commemorative photos corner.
One section of the Tembo Deck has a glass floor, and you can look straight down to see the streets of Tokyo directly below. It’s also a great place to take some cool photos.
TEMBO GALLERY
Dubbed "the world's highest skywalk", the Tembo Galleria consists of a sloping spiral ramp that gains height as it circles the tower. The construction of the steel and glass tube allows visitors to look down from the dizzying height of the tower and out over the entire region.
At the top of the spiral ramp is a more conventional observation deck floor, Sorakara Point, with lounging areas and tall windows from which to look out over Tokyo. This floor is officially located at 1480 feet and constitutes the highest point of the observation decks.
Experienced the amazing three-dimensional view that makes it feel like I’m floating. Got a split-second sense of the roundness of the Earth.
Tokyo SKYTREE at night
As night falls, the Tower’s lights gradually come to life, changing from a soft blue-white reminiscent of the sky to a warmer golden. This is called “Miyabi” or elegance and symbolizes the connection between traditional Edo (old Tokyo) and modern Tokyo.
Iki (Sky Blue): This is the default nighttime illumination. It represents the modern spirit of Tokyo and the tower’s role as a new landmark.
Miyabi (Champagne Gold): Used in combination with Iki, this warm golden hue symbolizes the connection between traditional Edo culture and contemporary Tokyo.
Sakura (Pink): Displayed during cherry blossom season, typically in late March to early April, celebrating this iconic Japanese cultural event.
Fuyu (Snow White): Used in winter months, evoking the serene beauty of snowfall.
Natsu (Blue): A summer-themed illumination reminiscent of cool water and clear skies
The major role of TOKYO SKYTREE is the transmission of digital terrestrial broadcasting.
