Janma Nakshtra Day @ Thirumandurai

10th February 2014 .. My 62nd Janma Nakshtra Day.
Born in Mirgasirisha in Nandana Thai in 1953, I have completed 61 years.

It was planned to perform Full Abishekam to all the Deities at our KulaDeivam temple at ThiruMandurai. A week back, met my mother and got her blessings and guidance for this performance. Me and Usha been to Mala's house two days earlier to make arrangements for this event. Because of non availability of train tickets, took KPN.

A to Z of the Abishekam samans including vastrams and 'Prasadam' provisions bought at Mangal & Mangal. Been to temple a day earlier to handover the provisions to Mani so as to prepare the Prasadams.

Umakanth, Kanu, Heenu and Mrs & Mr Nagar arrived by Rockfort a day earlier and ferried them to a hotel near Chatram Bus Stand. Then Me, Usha, UK, Heenu and Nagars been to ThiruvanaiKovil. After a very long time, I am visiting this magnificient temple. Had an atmarta darshan of the Divine Mother & Father. Then to Mala's house to have lunch. Then to Samayapuram. Mala too accompanied. Here too had a fully satisified darshan of Samayapurathal. Then to Eesambalathy Amman temple at BishandarKovil. The Grama Devadai. What a mental happiness. Explained to Kanu about the temple and Marulali. Then to SriRengam temple. Due to shortage of time, had only darshan of Sakkrathalwar.

Me and Usha back to Mala's house and UK, Kanu, Nagars to hotel. Me and Krish to Poo Kadai and purchased the Malais and uthiripoo and other items. Around 11.30 in the night, Srikanth rang up and informed that he is driving and will be reaching the house in a hour. It is a good sign that he is mingling and he slept in the Mala's house.

Next day at 6.30 in the morning, except Srikanth, all to ThiruMandurai. Both Usha and Kanu put 'MaaVilakku' before Amman. By the time the Abishekam started, Srikanth arrived. First, each and every Parivara Deities. Abishekam & Vastram. Started with the Nandis standing before Amravaneswarar & Valambigai. Then, Nardhana Vinayagar, Aadi Sankarar, Dakshinamurthy, Periya Pillaiyar, Valli Devaiyanai sameda Subramanyar, GajaLakshmi, BalaDandyuthapani, Vishnu, Brahma, Durgai, Chandikeswarar, Navargrahas, Suryan, Bairvar, Nalwar and Periya Nandi. For these Devadas, only Paal Abishekam.

Then full Abishekam. Paal, Thayir, Thean, Panchamirtham, Santhanam, et al. Nagars brought Ganga Jal from Haridwar. Abishekam was done with the holy water for Ammai & Appan. The same abishekam to Karuppu. Then Vastram, Malais, and Archanai.

Nagar brought me a Spadiga Malai & Rudraksha Malai, and for Usha a venmuthu malai. All these adorned to Ammai & Appan during abishekam.

Vashti & Pudavai to Mani, Kumar, Ramdas & family along with 500Rs. Also to MadaPalli cook a veshti with 200. Given sufficient amount to Mani, Kumar's son and Ramdas for abishekam & archanai.

Then Prasadam. Sakrai Pongal, Vadai, Puliyodarai & Thayir sadam. No doubt, very tasty. Then me, Usha & Srikanth to Mala's house. Uamakanth, Kanu, Nagars to hotel.

After a nap, me Usha Srikanth left Mala's house in the evening by Vento for Bangalore. On way, paid a courtesy visit to meet Nagars at hotel. From Karur to Bangalore, very good road. Reached Oasis Breeze around 2 in the night.

An approximate of 20K spent for this Abishekam & Archani.
